- Rationalizing religious holdings including building new modern facilities and land disposals (Redemptorists Order);
- Master planning educational campuses including that of TU Dublin;
- Resolving apparently intractable family disputes /legacy issues;
- Developing innovative investment programs for commercial and residential situations (Hibernia REIT and Urbeo Residential).

Dr William K. Nowlan
Following an MBO recently of his old firm, WK Nowlan Real Estate Advisors, Dr. William Nowlan established Oracle Real Estate Strategies. This company will offer strategic advice to property owners with complex property situations.
Dr. Nowlan has more than 40 years’ experience investing in Irish commercial property. Prior to forming W K Nowlan Real Estate Advisors in 1996, he was Head of Property Investment at Irish Life Assurance plc from 1985 to 1995. He was a member of the Committee of Management of IPUT (Irish Property Unit Trust, one of the largest institutional property investors in Ireland) from 1997 to 2007.
He is a member of the Irish Town Planning Institute, a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a former Chairman of both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Europe. He was also a member of the RICS Governing council in London. He was the founding Chairman of the Irish Property and Facilities Managers’ Association. He was also Visiting Professor in the University of Ulster and lecturer in Town Planning at University College, Dublin.
He assembled and led the Irish REITs Forum, a voluntary body of leading property industry practitioners and shareholders who came together in January 2011, to promote the introduction of REITs to Ireland that influenced the introduction of the Irish REIT legislation in early 2013. He was closely involved in the establishment of Hibernia REIT plc (Hibernia) which listed on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges in December 2013 and was a Non-Executive Director of Hibernia until his retirement in July 2017.
Dr. Nowlan is Founding Director of Urbeo Residential DAC, a social and affordable housing platform.
In 2018 Dr Nowlan was conferred with a PhD by University of Ulster for his research into the development and financing of social and affordable housing in Ireland. He is a also a regular speaker at property and planning conferences.
Pat Clarke
Pat has over 50 years experience as a qualified Professional Property Advisor. In his earlier career he was Group Property Surveyor at Bank of Ireland with responsibility for the development and implementation of the Bank’s property strategy to ensure it matched the ever changing business need. The objective was always to streamline premises costs, and improve network delivery.
Pat has also been an active participant in a number of property related professional organisations; he has chaired many committees in particular for The Society of Chartered Surveyors. He represented that Society as a founder member of the Council of European Property Professionals (currently 350,000 members) in 1989, and was its President in 1995. For a number of years he was also a member of an Inter-Professional Group advising the Department of The Environment on the introduction and implementation of the Building Regulations.
In more recent years Pat as a consultant principally to WK Nowlan Real Estate Advisors has provided strategic advice to owners of multiple properties on best property mix to suit future needs. This process is in part intuitively based on lifetime experience but essentially aided by research as to the business, the mission or the accommodation need. In this regard he works with many Religious and Charity based groups. He has also acted as Client Advisor on the development of major property projects and the ongoing management of existing properties.
